Eduard Chekmenev: Research at University of Louisville, Louisville KY (1998-2003)
The primary area of my research in Kentucky was solid state NMR spectroscopy of crystalline peptide powders.
Particularly, I was interested in 13Ca and 15N
chemical shielding properties. They were measured for glycyl residues
by Magic Angle Spinning (MAS) approach in a series of tripeptides. The results
of this experimental research are applicable to protein structural studies. Presentations
